Ramallah

Ramallah is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank located 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of Jerusalem, adjacent to Al-Bireh. Its altitude is between 830 and 900 meters above sea level, and because its weather is similar to that of the Mediterranean sea basin, it has temperature climates that are pleasant all year. It currently serves as the temporarily administrative capital of the Palestinian Authority, The city is the home to most Palestinian Ministries, International and local Non Government Organizations, major banks and business corporations.

With its lively town center, museums, art galleries, theaters, parks, a booming restaurant scene and a bustling nightlife, Ramallah is a fast-growing cosmopolitan town of approximately 60,000 people.

So much has been said about the beauty of the City of Ramallah, but there is still much more to be told. Its stone built homes stand proudly amidst loch olive and fig trees. Grapevines weave their way through fences and spacious yards. The sun sets amidst imposing mountains, throwing colors of orange, lavender and blue.
Palestine

Palestine is the place of origin of the olive tree with some of the oldest olive groves in the world, some dating as far back as 1500 to 2000 years. It lies between the Mediterranean Coast and the Jordan River, at the crossroads between Africa and the Middle East. Palestine Geography consists of four regions in the country. The four regions of Palestine Geography are Jordan valley and Ghawr, coastal and inner plains, Mountain and Hills and Southern Desert. The individual faces in any Palestinian town remind you of this rich history of cross-cultural influences. Today Palestine is proud to offer comfortable, stylish accommodations, fabulous restaurants, refined artists and galleries, exquisite handicrafts, innumerable archeological and religious sites, and antiquities from all ages.

The climate is clear anytime of the year. In winter, Jericho is a favorite resort and even the Jerusalem sun can be warm during the day. Winter can be cold, rainy with the possibility of snow in some areas. In summer, the only problem is how to cool off as you head for the higher and drier places inland. Ramallah and the North West Bank are summer favorites for locals and foreigners alike. Spring is definitely the best time to visit as the weather is quite moderate making it enjoyable to travel around. Average temperatures range from 9-18°C in winter and 26- 30°C in summer.
